I’m asking if people ever had the issue of resin pieces not fitting correctly and having to cut a large amount of to make it fit properly?

It happens, yes. I built a converted version of the Land Raider Proteus from Forgeworld, and had quite a few parts that either had to be trimmed, or left giant gaps when assembled. It was by far the worst resin kit I have ever had the misfortune of building.

I consoled myself by reminding myself how much worse it was when models were metal...
