No. The Command Reroll specifies what rolls it is allowed for. While this does include the "damage" roll, or a "psychic test", it does not include "number of mortal wounds caused by any source".

I would argue no RAW. Closest valid category of roll would be 'damage roll'. However, there is no logical link that would establish "roll to determine how many mortal wounds suffered" = "damage roll". We know that 'damage roll' refers to the variable D characteristic (i.e. 1d3), and that mortal wounds incur 1 damage per, but what we don't know explicitly is whether the d3 in mortal wounds are counted as a 'damage roll' for the purpose of command reroll stratagem.

COMMAND RE-ROLL
Use this Stratagem after you have made a hit roll, a wound roll, a damage roll, a saving throw, an Advance roll, a charge roll, a Psychic test, a Deny the Witch test or you have rolled the dice to determine the number of attacks made by a weapon. Re-roll that roll, test or saving throw.
No, you cannot reroll a MW roll, because its not a damage roll. A damage roll is defined on pg. 365 :
When determining a random damage characteristic, the dice roll is called a damage roll.
The damage characteristic is defined on pg. 202 :
7. WEAPONS
Weapons are described with the following characteristics:
.
.
.
Damage (D): The amount of damage inflicted by a successful wound.
If your weapon has a random damage characteristic which does MW (i dont know if there are any), you could reroll that.

Precision Blows Succubus? Though I don’t think any of her melee weapons have random damage, if one did that would apply.

So hers actually trigger off the Hit roll and none of her weapons have a variable damage characteristic (they're always 1, 2 or 3 damage).

I brought this up because my opponent had a C'tan do one of its powers that does d6 mortal wounds. he rolled a 1, and was going to reroll that and I asked him was that an ability or a damage roll. Glad I did... could have been a 5 or a 6 instead and my flyer would have gone down, as it was, that flyer lived the rest of the battle.

Could've just been edition lag as in 8th ed, command reroll could be used for ANY roll.
