New to 40k so if this is a noobish question I apologise!
Multiplayer games aren't really covered in the rules (except the most recent Crusade mission pack, but even then it's for three-sided games), so it's something you might want to houserule. As long as you meet the keyword requirements for the transport, it should be fine.

Yeah for a group game like this it’s “whatever people find the most fun” that works best.
We’ve played 2x2 with shared CP, bonus CP each, shared buffs, not-shared buffs, whatever the group decided made sense that day.
