Hey everyone,

Let's say i have these SoB units embarked inside a Rhino :

1x5 BSS
1x4 Sisters Repentia
1x Repentia Superior

Now for the questions :

1. When disembarking, must i disembark them all at once, or can i disembark 1 unit only, and leave the rest inside?
2. After 1 unit has disembarked, can i first move the disembarked unit away from the transport to make space for the next disembarking uni, and THEN disembark my next unit?
3. Are Auras turned off while the aura giver is inside a transport?

1) Disembark any or all. You don't have to put them as a group.
2) Yes.
3) Not precisely, but effectively yes. You do not benefit from a model's Auras if it's inside a transport.

You choose which units to disembark. They do not have to all disembark the same turn.
2. After 1 unit has disembarked, can i first move the disembarked unit away from the transport to make space for the next disembarking uni, and THEN disembark my next unit?
Yes. In fact you must move each unit as it disembarks. Once another unit disembarks, those that disembarked priorly are no longer eligible to move.
3. Are Auras turned off while the aura giver is inside a transport?
Effectively, yes. You cannot measure to or from a unit embarked in a Transport.

You don't have to move each unit as it disembarks, there's no rule forcing you to do so.

The point being made is it IF you want to move the unit, you can only do so at the point it disembarks.

You don't have to move each unit, that is correct.

However he was saying that, if you want to move that unit at all this turn after it disembarks, you must move each unit as it disembarks, or they stay in the place where they disembarked from the transport.

Agreed. The only restriction is that you must disembark any units that want to before the transport moves. There is no obligation in the Disembark rules to move each unit immediately after being set up.

hey everyone thanks for the reply

so i got follow up questions, for example, lets say i got my rhino almost completely surrounded, but there is still some small space which fits a 32mm size model to pass through from the transport

can i then move them away from the transport as far as the M characteristic of the unit?

for example, can i just move my disembarking BSS unit 6" away from the transport through that small gap?

Disembarking units are set up, not moved when they perform a disembark.

So as long as you can set them up legally, you can disembark from a transport.

Basically if the unit you are setting up is "wholly within 3" of the Transport model and not within Engagement Range of any enemy models" (PDF rules P. 12), then you can disembark them from the transport.
