I've ordered the following model recently, and plan to build and paint it up very nicely. It will be my first go at the hobby for the first time in a few years.

Update: I can post links now. New post has the image.

I'm just wondering about the accuracy of HIS depiction with this model. Is there anything I might need to change about it, to increase the "authenticity" of the look?

If all goes well with this model, I plan to buy and do up all 18 Primarchs as well (pre-heresy schemes of course).

The actual appearance of the emperor was of an old man or average hieght. However his glamour makes everyone see what they would associate with a glorious ruler of the galaxy/omnissiah/etc. Wonder who Valador sees.

This is the actual model. Any thoughts on the accuracy? Will I need to change anything at all?

Looks pretty accurate to me, I don't think you'll need to change anything.

Good to know. Thanks.

After the "not-Emperor" will be the Primarchs. All 18 of them, and for pure funzies, done in their order of in-universe discovery. So Horus will be up first, and he'll be done in Luna Wolves' colours.

Anyways, I'm good now. I'll definitely post pics when it's done (the not-Emperor model), but that may take a bit of time. I want it to look really good.
