So new club league, what should I play next? Snotlings! They should be awful!

11 Snots
1 bomber (now with Hail Mary pass)
2 trolls
2 stars
2d3+1 extra snots

Three games in I have yet to concede a touchdown and have won 2-0, 2-0 and 1-0 vs Chaos Dwarves, Orks and Dwarves.

Whilst I would like to say it’s pure skill it is really the effect of having a choice of 10 stars. Hakflem is an auto include and gets supported by the fat rat, ghoul chewer or Morg (in the last match - the Dwarves killed the rat turn three so Morg decided to play them on his own).

Combine that with a plentiful amount of screening players and the team in no way feels like tier three.

We have already agreed next season to ban Stars…

I am only familiar with Ogre teams and those are just plain awful. Like they are supposed to be.

If you like star players and other inducements, snotlings are for you.

In all seriousness, they are like playing the game on hard mode. It can be done, but not by a rookie. Swarming can he powerful, and the new Bomber and Fungus Star players could cause havoc for your opponent.

I expected hard mode - I got the ultimate stars and screening team.

I had intended to run all their positions and wagons etc., but delays to construction meant just trolls, stars and linesnots.

No need to mess about with cheap bomber and fungus stars - I am getting Hakflem and a thug each game and my 100k in extra runts.

The ability to screen so much and do so many 3 dice MB blocks is gravy. Even against the dwarves when Hakflem died turn 3, I still had the undercosted Morg, 2 trolls, and a near limitless number of screening models.

Next game I will be hail mary bombing as well.

I thinkt he team would be hard mode normally, but with the star crutch they are something else. I get a choice of 10+ stars, many of them excellent, and those guys are seriously undervalued.

Another easy win last night, this time vs Lizards.

And again vs Khorne 3-0... In a blizzard so no hail mary pass bombs, and a troll was knocked out in the first drive never to return. I am not that good, it is really not tier 3...
