I had a strange dream where my RPG groups was playing a game of Blood Bowl. However, it wasn't the board game or the card game; we were playing it as a RPG. One player was an Elf Catcher, another a Human Thrower, the third a Dwarf Slayer, and the last was a Halfling. The group was trying to sneak into their opponent's locker room in order to spike their Gatorade during the half.

So, when I woke up I immediately started thinking about how to make a Blood Bowl RPG. Of course, the profiles do not have to vary that far from the game itself. However, the RPG would need a way to abstract a potential in-game action, and focus on the off field shenanigans that a normal Blood Bowl team would/could get into.

If you were going to make such an RPG, how would you do it?

I'm currently playing a wannabe bloodbowl player in a WHFB game (4th edition rules). Using the pitfighter career, but it would be easy enough to create one or more bloodbowl centric career profiles.

In the Middenheim City of the White Wolf book for WFRP 4E there are full fules for playing Middenball which would be a good base to start from!
