I was puting together a few lists and realized I really enjoy one in particular, that I've used now a few times in a row and with success. I play mostly Chaos Marines but occasionally I'll play Space Marines as well. But this is a Chaos Marine list of 2500 pts, only one battalion detachment.

2 Chaos Sorcerers in Terminator armor

Elite
1 Helbrute (Reaper Auto Cannon and Fist)
2 Terminator Squads, 5 Terminators each

Troops
6 Legionary Squads of 10 legionaries each, armed with a variety of weapons

Dedicated Transport
3 Rhinos, 2 with Combi Flamers and 1 with a Havoc Launcher

Heavy Support
Land Raider
Predator Annihilator
Vindicator

A pretty simple list. The heavy vehicles made things easy. The Vindicator and Land Raider each advance across the table and the Rhinos stay close. If all goes well, the T7 Rhinos get to where they need to go while the beefy T8 battle tanks take up most of the heavy weapons fire, while giving some back in return. The Predator, also T7 like the Rhinos, will just take up the very rear of the army denying enemy deep strike units in rearward territory while simultaneously obliterating heavy units from 48 inch range with those 4 Lascannons. Worked like a charm last week with all units accomplishing their tasks except for the Land Raider which was stricken useless in the very first turn sequence, suffering a staggering 10 wounds. Overall it was a fun game and it was a good list, I'll definitely be using it again.

So, what is your favorite list that you have to actively try not use multiple times in a row? I prefer 2000 or 2500 pt. lists but any are welcome. I'm curious to see how other armies like to play and what goals these particular lists have in mind.
