Initial Plan; deploy the Stormsurge and the Tigersharks aggressively, the Devilfish as close to an objective as I can get it while remaining within 8.5 inches of a table edge. Select Kauyon. Redeploy the devilfish, Stormsurge and the Tigersharks into reserves. If my opponent kills my positional relay bearing coldstar then I hold off on deploying everything until I get the benefit of the Kauyon philosphy. If he remains on the field... well deploying a reserve turn 1 is possible...

Positionaly relay allows you to deploy 1 round better on where, but the same on when. So it won't help with Strategic Reserve units on turn 1.

With that in mind I've seen top players field it, but I can't figure out when it would ever be worth it.

And hominig beacons are better they allow one manta strike on turn 1. And then with Kayon, you can play with other units.

You know homing beacons only work with something that has manta strike, which is basically just crisis suits.
