Instead of creating a separate post for every battle report, I thought I would create a central repository.
It looks like we'll have another K47 game day shortly with possibly an escalation league going. So I'll have hopefully all types of new videos or photos.
In the meantime, my latest game was a game against some Canadians.
Any comments/critiques welcome.
If you're ever in the Huntsville, Al area give me a shout and we'll line up a game.
This time around we did a 1250 2 v 1 game of Germans vs Soviets. I didn't have a ton of time, so I loaded up on some big boom and strolled down to the new game store in town.
Good to see folks playing K47! Don't usually watch Batreps, but I'll glance over them and read anything you care to write about the gameplay, tips, observations, etc.
Just started a discussion with some club members about playing some next year after our KOW campaign wraps up. Almost all of them have a K47 Army or other WWW2 force, though we haven't played in years
I'll need to put together some more write ups. Although it was just a written form of a battle report.
That's good to hear. It's likely there will be some new stuff announced/near. Warlord just bought the property so hopefully the backlog will start being cleared.

So I've been a bit lazy in my posting here. I've actually made two videos since my last post.
The first being a hobby video on some new/variant platoons I'll be using going forward.
It's essentially a mix of the current platoon options and some additional list building restrictions.
I was also able to get another game in against some Canadians.
In other Konflikt 47 adventures I'm getting ready for a tournament I'll be running in January. More to follow there soon.
Thanks for stopping by

I love this game so much. Working on my Japanese at the moment, a 2023 project start. Thanks for all the info. I'm going to watch video now but I'm sure the tournament is far away from me. cheers.

Thanks. Yea, I've been really into K47 and have pretty much set into that as my go-to game.
Ha! Yea, it's a bit of a drive from your area it would seem.
Hopefully you'll get getting some games in the with Japanese in no time. I have some of my own, but my hobby interest has me locked in on my Allied Italians and Soviets.

In the last FAQ they posted some trial horror rules to use. In essence they have each horror unit a Horror Value and whenever this unit charges or is charges the non-horror unit gets that many pins. The FAQ is a little vague on how to implement so after some back and forth on the facebook page we use the below.
To help clarify how Horror will work in Assault with the update.
1) A unit of Nachtjagers (Horror 2) declares an assault vs a squad of Soviet regulars.
2)The Nachtjagers put 2 pins on the Soviets. The Soviets immediately take a Horror check to see if they can declare a reaction. If they pass and have not yet activated, they may declare a reaction.
3)Pass or Fail, the Assault then takes place. If they passed the Horror Check and their reaction test they may Stand and Shoot.
4)The Nachtjagers make it into combat. The Soviets wisely decide to shoot, since Point Blank Shooting goes first. Once complete the Nachtjagers get to go in H2H.
All subsequent rounds are H2H, and the horror units strike first in each round.
