Hey guys , been a growing fan of 40k for a year or so now and just now am financially getting too a point where I feel I can really invest in a solid army, Really hoping for some advice to help me get started haha I don’t have much of any idea of what specifically I need to buy or how to put together an army, most of my knowledge on 40k is more lore based not table top based so I don’t really know where to get started. I want to get a few different army’s at some point but as I don’t know specifically what I need to play I don’t know where too start, so yea any advice would be amazing and very much appreciated. Big fan of chaos marines so probably gonna start there , havnt narrowed down faction yet though.

As to advice, except ones like ''start small'' and ''choose army you like the look and lore of'', I suggest to check 40k subforums like ''Tactics'', ''Army Lists'', ''General Discussion'' etc. There you will find answers to most or even all things you want to know, and will be able to ask even more questions
