How is it different from other mediums used to thin paints and it related to creating a glaze by thinning paints

A glaze medium is a medium used to thin the paints while retaining control.

If you use a lot of water it is more difficult to get an even, smooth finish, with a glaze medium you can thin to your heart's content and not have to worry about pigment separation.

Using a specialist medium to thin paints (and a proper spray primer to prep you miniatures) is the key to becoming a better painter, at least in my experience.

glaze medium is best used when doing wet-on wet blending, similar to acrylic retarder, slows down the drying time of acrylics.

So how is it different from lahmian medium, for example? Or green stuff worlds master medium, both of which are used for thinking paint.

Or flow enhancer?

glaze medium and retarders should NOT be added directly to paint pots, they should be added to palettes when mixing up paint; acrylic paint thinner mediums can be added directly to paint pots to keep it fresh and sometimes reconstitute almost dried up paint pots. Isopropyl alcohol shouldn't be used as a paint thinner, best used for paint stripping, you can get away using it to get a certain weathering effect.

I just use water, because I'm lazy. Lahmain medium will work as a glaze medium.

Lahmian Medium is a glaze medium, it's just GW's trademarkable name. It also happens to be incredibly expensive compared to what other companies make.

I've never used GSW's master medium, but I imagine that it works just like any other paint-thinning medium.

Flow enhancer makes the paint "flow" better, for want of a better term. You can use it with inks to make your own washes.
