So, like many, the scale of the terminator models really bothers me. I've looked up and researched the idea of using aggressor legs for terminators to give them the added height and bulk they should have. It makes them bulkier and more menacing looking than an intercessor : ) But I also found that some are going further and using the entire aggressor body and just swapping in the terminator head and arms. To be honest, the sample pics I've seen look good.

A few questions for you all. Do you feel it's more appropriate to keep the terminator helmet just so they have a more classic vibe? Would an aggressor body with the head using termie arms and pauldrons read as a terminator still?

I'm leaning toward an aggressor body and backpack (to minimize sculpting- I suck at it) and using terminator heads, pauldrons and arms. The pics look decent but has anyone done this? Do you like the look? I don't currently have any aggressor bodies and am just looking for a nudge to invest in some before forking out the money.

Lastly, would doing this make me a heretic and subject to the Wrath of the Emperor and/or the inquisition? I'm a DA player so I'm sort of on thin ice already with them.

Yes, was considering this in the past, alas, GW deleting ETB aggressor pack really put a dent in these plans

If you want silhouette to read even more terminator like, you can replace aggressor backpack with regular power armor one, and cut off propulsion vents. This will help them to maintain same square top shape. As for helmets, IIRC the problem is that terminator ones glue at the back, while aggressor ones have necks. You'd either need to get creative with gluing or add a neck to terminator helmet.

I'd show the pictures of my conversion but it's unfinished and somewhere in a drawer 'to do later' so can't help right now, sorry.

Thanks Irbis. I'll try the backpack idea. I have been playing with meshmixer some and have made some custom parts. I may try a backpack out next. Now the heads... I feel like I should stick with terminator heads just for tradition sake. But I really just do like the aggressor helmet too. I want then to look like terminators but I'm torn between that and the rule of cool.
