I've noticed over the last couple of days that the first unread function is appearing and suggesting there are new posts to read in threads, but when I click the link there are no new posts and it only shows posts I have definitely already read.

Generally I have already see the same thread without the first unread tag present, and then it reappears spuriously when I review my subbed threads/select a subforum. I am not sure what is triggering this, it isn't happening all the time.

Anyone else having this issue?

Edit: speak of the devil- happened when I clicked off this thread. The attached screenshot shows first unread on my own thread with only my post present.

It's one of those things that happens from time to time - I'm pretty sure it was happening earlier this morning, but may have cleared up now, for me at least.

It does seem to have resolved, which is good. It was bugging me
