I'm talking about free hanging chains. So something like this:
Or simple ropes.
No way I'm taking a clipper to that once it's set and I can't clip it in advance.
I have tried cutting triangles into the coins, and on bigger coins it...somewhat works?
Smaller ones on the other hand are just way too fiddly for that.
I cut too much and ruin it, it goes flying across the room, etc.just making thin enough small coins is not easy. (and straight).
Drilling it is too hard and doesn't really work with chains, though I managed to do it with a string.
And a string of coins can be positioned any way you want, it's great, but woo boy that's nerve-wracking.
Put the slightest bit too much force and you rip off the coin, and you'll probably not even notice.
( and yes I've glued coins to tweezers as well

Trying this with greenstuff should be less....volatile?
