After signing up for the recent Mierce miniatures patreon, I thought I'd start a thread to act as a gallery for whatever I make from it. Whilst I do intend to stay a regular subscriber and not just dip in and out, the reality is that, unfortunately, I won't be able to print and paint it all. Unfortunate because, having printed out all of the first month's package (month 3 becomes available tomorrow) I really am completely enamored with the quality of the sculpts. I had a couple of their models from a few years ago, so knew that the standard was high, but now that they are sculpting digitally the finished product is something very special.

I thought that here was the best place as I don't intend for it to be about the printing, just the finished product.

Just a couple of pictures to get the thread started, then I'll update as and when I do more;

The necromancer is the model that has impressed me the most; the crispness of the details is incredible. The lines on his face, and his expression are the equal of anything that I have ever seen cast in resin.

Comments, constructive feedback, votes, questions etc are all very welcome.

Thanks for looking.

Just one model from the second month for now, a large bronze statue brought to life;

The sculpt is stunning, and I really like the attention to detail on the ankle-it has the Achilles' heel hatch in the style of Jason and the Argonauts, which brought a smile to my face. I wasn't intending on printing too many of this faction, but as the painting time is comparatively low I'll do a few more over the weekend.

More of the Atalantes printed and painted. Just quick work with the airbrush and washes for the most part. They look like what they are, so am pleased with the results given the effort put in. The sculpts do all the work.

This guy really is massive. I wasn't really fussed about these when I first saw the monthly warband (you get two of them), but now that he's done, I'm really glad that I printed him.

Family shot

Really happy with the finished collection, especially given that I've hardly spent any time on them- the assembly was easy, the painting was quick. Can't ask for much more.

I'm not really too fussed about the snake ladies this month, so will try to get a few more of the Jutes (skeletons) done before the werewolves come out next month. Any feedback or comments would be most welcome

Cheers mate, much appreciated

I know that I said that I wasn't going to do anything from the khthones, but couldn't resist a couple of bits, mostly these handsome fellas;

Again, absolutely stunning prints. I have also printed the 'Medusa' figure, which I'll aim to get painted soon. It's exam season at present, which means two full time jobs right now, so painting doesn't get much of a look in. Looking forward to getting some paint on her, though.

Great to see not only prints but also paints of the Mierce 3D offerings! I've only printed the lizard drummer so far but all of his versions printed great.

Top marks on the worms!

Cheers mate; I am really pleased with how they are coming out. Have you posted a pic of your drummer?

I have printed quite a bit more, in varying states of paintedness. Exam season took longer than expected, so my summer painting time was reduced somewhat. Here are a couple of bits that are done;

Atalantes Hoplite

Ysians Crom

And Nolwen

I have a couple of the anglcynn and byzantii printed, and the dragon isn't far from done. More soon, hopefully.

Hi, since the last post, I have printed a lot, but only painted a little. Life has been busy lately, but that's always the case. Anyway, the Jon Hodgson books arrived, so I wanted to have a very quick play;

Mag Ap Mag, Welsh Jabberwocky man;

And some Cornish barbarians out on a pillage;

The dragon is 95% done, but my missus snuck it into her study as an ornament, so I just need to get him back. Garth on foot is nearly done, the daemons from the KS are printed and in various states, as is a bunch of other oddments that I have done from each month. The big gast king from the FronTier will probably be the next posting. Hopefully before too long.

Cheers

Your paint jobs look fantastic! I love the picture of your Ysians at the bottom. I'd love to see a wider shot of your terrain/board!

Out of curiosity, what resin are you using to print with? The Mierce stuff looks great with Elegoo space grey, but it was too brittle for the fiddly bits, so I've been using Phrozen Aqua Clay lately. The advantage of Phrozen is that their resin cures fast and NEVER fails, but I feel like I'm getting slightly shallower textures.

Thank you for the kind words. The picture base is actually just the base of the old citadel woods with the trees taken off. Makes for a good stand for pictures.

I just use the anycubic standard resin. It isn't the most robust in fairness, but I doubt they'll ever see a gaming table unfortunately.
