A question for anyone who has built one of these…

I'm adding the heavy bolters and door gunners, but I can't tell how the door gunners' arms attach to the heavy bolters. The separate handles (used if you're not building the door gunners) fit into a slot at the back of the heavy bolters, but the handles attached to the door gunners' arms are much, much thicker and won't possibly fit into the slot, although it looks from the assembly instructions like that's the intention.

Anyone know how this is supposed to work?

You need to shave and sand the handle with some jewelry files; don't attach the arms to the torso, attach to the HB instead once fit; once painted you can glue to the torso after dry fitting, the angle will be aimed down; a lot of the Valkyrie you shouldn't glue together, do a thorough sub assembly and dry fit before gluing.

Thanks – that's a really helpful answer. Much appreciated.

As BigMag says, you'll want to do a little modding. If assembled at face value the guns will be pretty much horizontal which doesnt look right. By carefully dry fitting the arms part between the gun and torso you can find an angle you like and glue it to lock things in.

For each gunner I embedded a magnet in the floor and in one of their boots (and did not glue the guns to their mounts) so that I can easily take them out and close the door if I want.
