We're hosting a 30k day at Gamer's Haven in Colton, California on the 26th of August.


Another Battle of the Filthy Casuals

Come one, come all: its Horus Heresy Day at Gamer’s Haven in Colton, CA. As usual, the intent here is to have fun, build the 30k community and push around our toy soldiers while making pew pew noises.

Format: Two games, the first is 2,000 points, second is 3,000 points. No requirement for 100% overlap from 2k to 3k, but do please bring the same primary force.

Missions: We'll be using Goonhammer's Horus Heresy missions; the 2k game will be Changing Priorities while the 3k game will be Endurance.

Painting/Modeling: No requirement for painting, obviously we encourage fully painted and based minis, but this is a fun, local event with the intent of growing the community; so no requirement.
We’ll do a best painted army and best painted mini (voted on during lunch).

Tentative Timeline:
0830 Sign in etc
0900 Game 1 Starts
1200-1300 Lunch
1300 Game 2 Starts
1600 Wrap up, awards for best painted loyalist/traitor
