What do you think is the best faction to start 40k with right now??

Am not sure I would agree with the rankings, but the ranking style is interesting.

This style of review is ment for new players right?

If you have to kill, then kill in the best manner. If you slaughter, then slaughter in the best manner. Let one of you sharpen his knife so his animal feels no pain.

Ok thanks! And yes, it’s meant for new players to 40K

Then I think it is useful. It is clear, not too much in depth in to tactics or meta talk. Focused on the hobby elements of armies. Although I would like to point out that, I am a bit on the odd side, so things I find normal or okey, may not feel so for a normal person.

Were I a new player your review would NOT be helpful.
For ex;
1) For the various SM types? On some you list the extensive model range as pro. And then for others you claim it as a Con. Despite most of the chapters utilizing the same core units....
2) So it's a pro that the Grey Knights have a simple silver paint scheme overall. But it's a Con that the Necrons have a similarly silver base scheme. ???
3) Concerning the 1k sons - There is no psychic phase in this edition for them to dominate. Since you obviously don't know the rules for 10e that taints your whole review. Of course brand new players won't realize that without having read the rules....
4) You don't use consistent terms to describe the pros & cons between the forces.
5) In some places your charts are simplistic to the point of uselessness if they were to be viewed without your narration. For example there one force (i forget wich) where one of the cons is listed as "Range". Weapons range? Model range? Too high? Too low? ???
*6) Nobody cares what your personal opinion of the Black Templars is. Great, you've admitted that you're biased & think they're boring. But that's not helpful at all to a new player and doesn't belong in a review of this sort.

Hey you are right I mis spoke when I talked about TSons, I have played a bunch of games of 10th, and although it is no longer separated there are still tons of psychic powers sprinkled into other phases.

I agree that the criteria for each force seem to be inconsistent and not actually very helpful.
The categories are very vague and don't give the info needed to make a decision.
For example, "Internal VS External" doesn't describe what you are trying to do with each category properly. It needs to be focussed on either Codex VS Game rules and interactions, or it needs to be Rules VS Models or something similar.
Instead, it is a rather confusing mess of different concepts and opinions that swap around depending on the army i.e. Internal Helpful for Marines is "Wide range" but Internal Helpful for Grey Knights is "Survivable". Likewise, Internal Harmful for Sisters of Battle is "Out Of Stock" while Internal Harmful for Dark Angels is "Bias".

I also think you've leaned too heavily on your personal views rather than trying to give a more objective, fact-based review.
You list the "Helpful/Internal" bit for Mechanicus as "Cool" like that has any sort of bearing on the army, and how you keep bringing up that Marines have community bias against them.

I don't know, considering marines are almost always below 50% win rate, that is not much of support. On the other hand an eldar player could have bought his army in 6th ed and he doesn't need to buy anything the cost to fun is astronomical. In that time the marine player, even if he stayed true to one chapter went through 1000$'s of dollars and most of the time never had comperable results.

If you have to kill, then kill in the best manner. If you slaughter, then slaughter in the best manner. Let one of you sharpen his knife so his animal feels no pain.
