Heroic Intervention states that no charge bonuses ar received after Charge Move. "Note that even if this charge is successful, your unit does not receive any Charge bonus this turn." Does that include abilities, that activate on the ending of charge move, such as Worldclaimer's Head Taker? "While this model is leading a unit, each time this model’s unit ends a Charge move, select one enemy unit within Engagement Range of this model’s unit and roll one D6 for each model in this model’s unit: for each 4+, that enemy unit suffers 1 mortal wound."

'Charge bonus' is just the granting of 'fights first', right? I don't see anything which precludes the use of other abilities which trigger off a successful charge.

It just means they don’t fight in the “Fights First” bucket. They fight normally in sequence as per a unit that hasn’t Charged.

Some units also gets bonuses, or abillaties that trigger when the unit charge. These are also not active.

That’s not true as HI says “Charge bonus” (Core Rules page.42) not “Charge bonuses” as the OP wrote. Charge Bonus is a defined term on page 29 of the Core rules, which grants Fights First.

This Charge Bonus is not granted when doing a Heroic Intervention. The unit did however make a Charge Move so abilities etc. that trigger off ending a Charge Move would be valid.

It still says "any", which implies multiple possible bonuses, but I see your point.

But it also calls out the Page where the ability named 'Charge Bonus' is detailed. It appears to be quite specific in what you do not get. 'Charge Bonus', an ability that gives you 'Fights First'. Neither the Charge Bonus box, nor the Heroic Intervention box mention other abilities, be they triggered by making a charge move or not.

Would “Out of Phase Rules” from the Rules Commentary apply here? My sense, from the example in the commentary at least which uses Overwatch, is that any abilities on a unit datacard “triggered” by a Charge would not apply to a Heroic Intervention.

All you have to do is fire three rounds a minute, and stand

Charges are done in charge phase. HI is done in charge phase.

Out of phase is when doing something not done in that phase usually. As these happen in charge phase doesn't apply.

Good point. I still have doubts, though, as you can only Charge in your own Charge phase unless using Heroic Intervention (HI). The wording of HI has the "as if it was your Charge phase" language. So its not happening in the normal phase.

Having said that, the Whirlwind ability used in the example has the language "In your Shooting phase" so perhaps it is more specific?

Still, I wouldn't be comfortable using a datasheet ability triggered by a Charge when using HI to make that Charge.
