FFG is hardly a stranger to huge lines and massive demand at Gencon, but based on the absolute clusterfeth that was Lorcana's release last year, I'm glad they're launching early, though I'm guessing there'll probably be a promo or expansion or something to drive crowds, hype, etc all the same.

I'm intrigued, but I've had friends who were into the original card game(s?), and I'm currently looking to unload a modest SWestiny collection, so the inclination to chase after yet another this year is pretty low.

First I've heard of this game. Looks interesting, but since I'm already trying to unload a fairly big MtG collection and recently got into Lorcana I'm not sure I want to start another card game.

We're playing it, SWU is a rad game. Lots of fun. But only if you have time / funds for it. that is the law of any TCG.

If ever inclined to try, don't hesitate though.
