Hello,

I have a kingroon kps. It is printing with an offset to the y axis by 20mm. I have looked up "the correction", which was to modify the line G92, by adding the measurement I needed to offset the printer.

I have removed the E0 and then added y +20, x +3

That centred the print. If I stop the print for any reason, the correction is not reapplied, and the print continues to the native offset.

Can someone help me understand what I need to do so the correction is carried over if I pause and then restart the print?

I am hoping I can pause, change the colour, and then finish the print.
Is there a better way?

Thanks for the skim!

Not sure about your specific printer, but yeah, you should be able to stop a print, clean the nozzle and change the filament.

Thank you for the reply.

I have figured out swapping the colours, but still struggle with full plate prints due to the offset.

I'm not familiar with the printer, but an x/y offset sounds weird, is the offset set by a limit switch? I thought that's how most printers did it, so maybe the limit switch is in the wrong spot or the wrong part of the carriage is hitting it?

Honestly, I have no idea were the offset came from. I have reinstalled Cura, and reset the printer setting to factory. This has seemingly corrected the issue, but I didn't mess with the setting UNTIL I had offset issues. Tried to correct it in the printer settings, then altered the gcode line 92 when that didn't work.

Now it prints center.

I did have a spot where the print was shifting 5mm during the print, but finished the print. I have several prints that look like someone cut them in half, then glued them back together not lined up to each other. Offset started then.

Now it's smooth printing. Very strange I thought.
