My dad passed away the same year my daughter was born. He'd started working on his Warhammer based diorama a little after I got into WH40K. Mostly Bretonnians vs Chaos warriors, but was going for a more King Arthur vs Vikings ish sort of thing. He had a few individual models too, such as the models to be used as Merling and Morgan le Fay.

He'd finished basically all the knights and a handful of the Chaos as test subjects. On his passing I took his minis. Besides being taken out every once in a while for a look they've stood untouched.

My daughter has now indicated she'd like to start up some D&D. So I raided my dad's stash of minis. As well as the ones from our untouched LOTR project.

Here they are. I see some issues I'll have to touch up but I'm happy with the results for the next session.

I couldn't find the Kislev Ranger's sword when I was getting them together. Her, Aragorn and Gimli are the new paints, the Chaos warrior and the sorceress are my dad's.

Obviously still some to do, but good enough for now.
