Happy to have stumbled upon Dakka Dakka when trying to learn more about 40k and Kill Team. This looks like a great place and can't wait to get into some threads and meet some other Gitz as excited bout 40k as I or more!

If it isn't already obvious I love the Orks, especially Squigs. I think they are just great fun to read about, paint and play. It's not about win or lose it's about a good scrap!

I currently am only playing Kill Team as the entry to the game was easier investment wise and the skirmish combat really interests me. I currently have a team of Kommandos , Veteran Guardsman and a Intercession squad. I'm trying to learn Warhammer 40k right now as I have just picked up a combat patrol and have the Stampede box I'm working on. Looks like I still have 605 points to figure out for my list but I'll focus on that once I have my current boxes setup.

Youtube got me into Warhammer with a story about an Orc being the only to get a happy ending, Tuska. It's been a deep dive into Orcs ever since. That made me want to know more about Orks so I went to get myself Brutal Kunnin and listened to Prophet of the WAAHHG. They were both a lot of fun. I have a little stack I need to get through now but I'm reading Forges of Mars the Omnibus I got as a gift. Been great so far almost done with the second book in it.

Its been sometime since ive been on some forums and have been digging around the site for what I could find but im not sure how to properly whisper to another user. Would you mind telling me how or point me towards any kind of command list?

Going from joke to tutorial in seconds flat then!

On the top left, click forum tools, there you have got "search member". Then, when you find the name you're after, click on it and then look for a little letter 'pm this user" or something along those lines. With a little letter in the logo.

That's how you can PM someone.

You've got plenty of option on a user's page: see their threads and replies, put on friend list, on ignore list, gift dakkamembership...
