I looked around and couldn’t see this question come up, but my apologies if I missed it in any of the discussions….

Looking at the Skaven .pdf for ToW, it only appears that the Screaming Bell and the Plague Furnace benefit from the “Scurrying Masses” special rule. That used to be a core rule of the Skaven since like almost forever... Am I missing something? That just doesn’t seem right.

Weapons teams get a version of it as well that only works for their parent unit.

The scurrying masses rule gives the unit a LD bonus equal to the rank bonus of another unit within 3", so it is only really appropriate for "attached" units. I wonder if you are maybe confused and thinking about the old skaven special rule that gives a unit a LD bonus equal to its own rank bonus? If so this is now covered by the warband universal special rule which most Skaven units have.

Ah…. I don’t have the rulebook yet. Yes, I had assumed that “Scurrying masses” might be the ToW rule to gave the Skaven the rank-based morale bonus they used to get. Hence, my confusion over why it would only apply to a very few units…

I didn’t realize that there was a USR that covers rank bonuses to morale.
