Hi guys

Can a Hippogryph make all his attacks with the maw? It is clear that one MUST BE done with the Maw but there are no rules which say i cannot do all the other attack always in the same way!

Am i right?

The note says, "must make one" not "must make at least one".

Both sentences don't specify that i cannot make all maw attacks.

The rules also don’t say dogs can’t play basketball.

If you’re going to a tournament, ask your TO for a ruling.
If you’re playing with friends, talk to them.
If you played me and insisted you deserve all attacks with it, I would decline the game.

"Must make one" means that it has to make one attack with the beak without question.

The other attacks in its profile can all be either with the beak or the claws and must remain the same choice so long as it remains locked in that specific combat over multiple turns.

So either you choose to go all out with the beak or you go all out with the claws. Neither weapon has a special rule to let you swap weapons on the fly during combat*

The beak gives you more damage but only -2ap on 6s; whilst the claws give you -2ap every time. So its a trade off between more damage or more ap.

*unless there's a special rule for monsters that I've missed.

I think the same things. Changing attack profile is very good especially if you fight against creature with no armor and lots of wounds like trolls and ogres.
