Hi all, not sure if I spelled her name correctly but I think you know who I mean.

Reading the solar war and she been kept prisoner between reaching ferrus manus and the start of the invasion of the solar system. Why?

I can’t find an answer to that gap. She’s not a baddie, she helped ferrus learn of Horus being a traitor. But everyone wants her dead.

She and the other Rememberancers along with Garro, the 70, and Iacton Qruze were all considered to be dangerous.
Oliton was kept imprisoned because she had spent so much time on the Vengeful Spirit.
The Loyalist forces couldn't take the chance and the Astartes were only kept free due to the influence of Malcador.

Also, it wasn't Ferrus Manus, it was Dorn.

Thanks for the correction.

Reading on Mersadie herself suggests that the reason no one wants her alive is because her memories (recorded in implants) are a record of events both sides don’t want exposed. We know the HH was buried in history by the imperium and I guess if Horus has won he wouldn’t want the records of him pre heresy being distributed.

She doesn’t say this explicitly but it makes sense

Again, not quite.

Oliton, Keeler, and Sinderman were marked for death because they were Imperial Remembrancers and as such the antithesis to Horus's new empire. They were the people who would build the culture of the Emperor's reign and as such needed to die. Horus never wanted her personally dead, unlike Keeler who was a serious threat due to her connection to the Imperial Creed.
Olitan was then imprisoned, and then eventually set to die during routine prison purging protocols to prevent Imperial inmates from falling into Traitor hands.
People only ever tried to kill Oliton specifically just out of happenstance, which for someone so important to the events of the Heresy I think is a pretty good part of narrative.
