Hey all, this might be obvious to most but I really wasn't sure if this works the way I think and if it's intended or not. The Monolith's Eternity gate reads the following:
Eternity Gate: In the Reinforcements step of your Movement phase, you can select one NECRONS INFANTRY unit from your army that is either in Reserves or on the battlefield (if you select the latter, remove that unit from the battlefield and place it into Reserves). That unit is then set up anywhere on the battlefield that is wholly within 6" of this model and not within Engagement Range of any enemy models. That unit cannot declare a charge this turn.
What I'm wondering is if I have a unit of Wraith (beasts) lead by a Technomancer (infantry) I know that the unit technically inherits all model keywords and therefore has the 'Infantry' keyword, but it feels unintentional/not legal to use the Eternity Gate to teleport them around.
Are my suspicions correct that this is legal to do since the unit inherits the keyword from the technomancer even though it's majority 'Beast' or is there some other situation I'm missing that prevents this? If it does work, this seems like a rather unintended consequence of the global rule rather than a perk of it.
Thanks!
