So literally every match I play, of Malice Difficulty and below, it's filled with folks who payed for a ton of gear upgrades, and run off, trigger a ton of hordes, die, or get lost, before I've even caught up to them. I'm level 7. I don't have the stamina to keep up. So I'm left trying to plink away with a las pistol or a sword, when two hordes and a plague Ogryn take the stage, and I'm getting sniped, and all the sudden the team quits, and I've got bot companions. This happens a lot less on higher difficulties, say 4/5, because they generally try to stay together as a team, and communicate.

I'm sick of getting crappy team mates that cause me to lose 75% of the games I queue up. Is there a way to set up the match making so I can get an easier time? Tier 1/2 tend to be so feth easy that it's not even worth the time, but I still am able to make it through, despite the Zealot running off to grab a ammo crate.

So...tips? Trying to pull a Tier 4/5 run on something less than Exterminatus Difficulty, so I can actually keep up. Even though the odds are clear, once I make it to the Boss, the baby will spit her Pacifier, and wake up.

I think that I've clocked in about 30 minutes of console time since my son was born. He's nearly six. Well done for getting on it at all! I'm mildly envious

It's a skill I like to call "being really willing to do EVERYthing else. When you handle 50% of the other chores, putting the tyke to sleep and keeping her asleep fall to the other parent. We are very open and honest about where we want "our time". Her time is in the mornings on weekends, my time is from 8-10pm in the evenings.

Honestly I just gave up on multiplayer games when my first was born.

Best advice I can give is get them into an established and regular bedtime routine and time and stick to it.

Also 30-60 mins of calm down time before bed is helpful if you can manage it.

Eventually they will be almost putting themselves to bed come bedtime.

Even with that not every night is guaranteed to be easy but it helps.

It does get easier when they get older though and you'll get more time to yourself, even if that may seem a long way off right now.

The first mistake is las pistol and sword. Or las weaponry in general when randos are involved since they will eat all your shots period by standing infront of you.

Auto weaponry penetrates them even though lowers their penetration on enemies by one but that is still.... workable.

The second mistake is playing lower difficulties since you either get the newbies which need guidance (wrangling cats) or the veterans speed running. IoW, play lower until you can skip to LVL 4 difficulty. which is grindy AF or just stick it out. That's the problem of cooperative shooter games.

GW:"Space marines got too many options to balance, therefore we decided to legends HH units."
Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?"
Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH.
