Hello everyone,

Good news, the registration is updated and ready to go:

https://www.dicehammer.org/merch/palm-springs-open-horus-heresy-table

We are hosting a two day 30k event at Dicehammer's Palm Springs Open this year. Each day (Saturday and Sunday) will have two 3,000 point games. There are no restrictions on unique characters, primarchs, detachments, etcetera, only that your detachment(s) are legal.

There will be awards for best painted army, mini and maybe some other stuff (overall themed favorite, most fun opponent) but that is up in the air.

We're doing our own terrain, so it will be 30k appropriate vs. 40k tournament terrain.

As of now we have ten tables set aside for 30k, 8 players are registered, but we can get more if we fill up. The event itself is at the Margaritaville Resort in downtown Palm Springs, so there is a bar at the event, tons of restaurants within walking distance and more. This is the low season in Palm Springs, so prices are pretty reasonable all around. For those that might fly in, the airport is about ten minutes by car from the hotel, and (in my opinion) the nicest airport in the US.

Regarding missions, we are working some custom missions with other SoCal 30k players to keep it fun, fluffy but also at least somewhat balanced. FAQ wise, we have not decided on anything, but we do not plan to make any severe decisions (eg limiting a unit to one reaction per player turn) as that would be too much of a change to the game we're all playing.

If there are any questions or comments, please let me know here or email me at jduncanwauchope@gmail.com
