Gathering the Informations.

Not the "why" of them existing. It's a hallmark concept, and one I find no issue with.

The "why" is "Why should they get access to almost the entire range of another faction?". The "why" is "Why do GSC players seem to feel entitled to the range of another faction?".

Because I can almost guarantee you that if it went the opposite direction, with Guard getting access to the meager scraps of Atalan units to represent the Reconnaissance elements that Guard are known to have there'd be a gakstorm.

So, what I'd love to know is why when the claim is consistently being made that "Guard units just aren't good"...why are GSC players here on Dakka so consistently against having Brood Brothers reworked as a concept in their actual codex?

I would ask what you would achieve taking units out, and what specific units you do not think belong and why?
I not really know full details, but isn’t the list missing unique units already.

As for taking GSC units, that I feel is probably more similar to imperial agents.

The dark hollows of Kentucky

Probably a "thematic" reason, to show how the GSC Infiltrate Imperial structure. Is it really that big of a problem? I don't remember any Guard players pitching fits over my Lost and the Damned in 3rd or my Renegades and Heretics in 7th?

Edit: Why the did my phone turn "Renegades " into "Renae"?

They’ve been in the lore for decades and it’s a way for GW to sell two armies the same kits, with an extra £££ upgrade sprue.

Not going away because it irks one guy on a forum!

The confrontational tone of the first post here raises doubt that this is intended to spark reasonable discussion.

Moving on.
