Turns out Sword Weirdos is a pretty good engine for a quick Mordheim-inspired skirmish.

Very nice! I pulled the trigger and got Space Weirdos to try out some games with my son (who is 9), and may eventually try out Sword Weirdos as it sounds like it's a tad more complicated. Both games look like they can easily handle some quite varied settings.

Both give me serious "Song of Blades and Heroes" vibes, but I like the different style of activation and the ascending/descending dice pairs.

"By this point I'm convinced 100% that every single race in the 40k universe have somehow tapped into the ork ability to just have their tech work because they think it should."
