Apologies if this is obvious but I am still a little behind with 10th edition. It appears from the new codex that the Adepta Sororitas no longer belong to different <ORDERS> as far as the rules are concerned? If I wanted to then I could have a whole mess of units with varying paint schemes and iconography and stick them all in the same detachment? And there is nothing stopping me from having a whole army painted as the Order of the Sacred Rose but then sticking Junith Eruita (Martyred Lady) in there to lead a squad?

Is this true in general for all 10th edition armies? Can Marneus Calgar and Kayvaan Shrike be in the same detachment? Can Dante act as warlord to an army full of Blood Claws?

Thanks!

40k no longer has orders these type rule come from detatchments now and there flavoured around unit types.

Painting doesn't matter casually and probably doesn't matter at an event

Junith is just an epic hero now not chapter linked

Other than Loyalist Space Marines of course who are still chapter segregated as usual.

I don’t have the Sisters Codex, but you cannot mix Chapters in a Space Marine force (page 105). Shrike and Calgar have different Faction Keywords. Dante has the Blood Angel Faction Keyword and the Blood Claws have the Space Wolves Faction Keyword, so they cannot be in the same army.

The seven Space Marine Detachments in the Codex have Chapter themes, but any Chapter can use them.

All you have to do is fire three rounds a minute, and stand

Paint schemes no longer matter from a rules perspective so you can have them painted as you like and call them whatever you want.

Paint schemes never really mattered to the rules.
