Anyone remember, let alone play, Dragon Dice?

I was digging through my stash of games and I found the 2 player starter set.

I remember it being a fun, casual/serious, game with a lot of different factions you can play as

Bro and I are going to try to relearn the rules and play this weekend

I will be playing dwarves against whatever he brings

Anyone have memories of playing the game?

I'm back!

I always thought it was a cool idea, but it was hard to find commercially when I discovered it, and also looked like it had an oddly huge rulebook.

I remember seeing it on the shelf, but never saw anyone ever play.

It appeared to have a huge barrier to entry. You would need to know what all the symbols on the dice meant. Also not as portable as a CCG, where you could have a deck in your pocket and play on a little scrap of space.

I got very excited by it, had a pile of dice, and never played...

I think I eventually got rid of it. The rulebook was indeed weirdly large.

I play...

Sigh.

Who am I kidding? I only paint these days...
