25 days ago, many teams of L' Art de la Guerre players descended upon the unsuspecting city of Lisbon, Portugal. With them they brought their lead, in which they poured their cruelty, their malice, and will to dominate* all tables.
One team to rule them all.*
Since this is an international tournament, I was greatly surprised that my first opponent was Steve Roper, who was penultimate last opponent.

Are technological differences accounted for in the tournament? For example, I don't think Old Kingdom Egyptian would fare well against the Burgundian Ordinance.

Not really. The units are pointed towards their capability. So a Burgundian heavy knight would be pointed 15 points which gets you a +2 vs mounted, +1 vs the rest, Impact (another +1 on contact) and two levels of armor.
An Alexandrian Companion heavy cavalry at 12 points you a +1 vs all, Impact (another +1 on contact) and one levels of armor.
Egyption chariots start at 9 points, +2 if they have armor, and come with a bow for ranged combat.
So while one on one, the Burgundian knight would tend to win, he may be over come with numbers, as each additional supporting unit is +1 on the die roll.
I played against Burgundians a few weeks back and won despite his superior knights because his army size (which is also the break point) was 20, and mine was 23, and we traded even most of the game and he hit his break point first. Egyptians could easily have 28 or more units in their army.
