Does any one know if you can still download the final points updates/ munitoriums for 8th and 9th editions.
I know the sisters codex for 9th edition is wrong for paragon warsuits in 9th.
But would love to down load the full document for both 8th and 9th.
Any help is appreciated

No luck on my end. As far as I can see, even copyright-skirting websites like Wahapedia only seem to provide a link to the PDF that's posted on Warhammer Community, and which gets taken down once it's obsolete. That's the issue with freely available information... Hardly anyone even bothers to archive it someplace else, until one day the provider takes it down and it all but disappears from the Internet.

But I wouldn't be surprised if some off-brand list-builders kept previous versions of points values. It's just plain text, so they wouldn't really have much reason to delete such a tiny amount of data from their list-builder.

I didn't collect 8th edition but I have 100% of everything released for 9th edition, digital copies of the munitoriums and balance data slates, as well as 98% of the WDs for 9th. My group actually still plays 9th edition and didn't really get into 10th so I even have a house-ruled balance data-slate I am working on.

PM me your email and what you want and I can send it to you.

I have 8th and 9th ed sisters
I have 4th-10th ed tyranids
But you do tend to notice unbalanced pts in some army lists. Also sisters 9th paragons had a big typo error.

The Paragon error was limited to the -1 Damage resistance not specifying that wounds couldn't be reduced below 1. But any TO or even casual opponent would know that was not how the rule was intended and I do believe it was officially fixed later.

As far as points go, its true there were some imbalances just like any edition and I would actually recommend people use the "9th 2022 MK II Nephilim points" and NOT the "9th 2023 MK I Arks Points" as the Arks points is when GW started making massive amounts of war-gear free and that doesn't work for 9th without creating mass imbalances.

That being said I did start to work on a Final Points update that my group uses to strike a balance between those last two munitorums as well as fix many of the units that GW just refused to adjust due to them being old units or the fact that GW purposefully overpriced certain aircraft. Certain armies also got a bit shafted such as Orks with their Gorkanaut and Morkanaut being nearly 100 points over what they should be and we also changed the Dakka rule to allow a +1 to hit in Dakka range (making it more than just a garbage rapid fire weapon)
