Subject: Need Help finding British Tankers who were knighted.
OI was going to name some tanks after British tank commanders who were knighted. This is what I've found:
1. General Sir John Hackett - Notable for his leadership during WWII.
2. Major General Sir Percy Hobart - Known for his innovative use of specialized tanks.
3. Lieutenant General Sir Brian Horrocks - Commanded during the Battle of Arnhem.
4. Major General Sir Richard Gale - Involved in airborne and tank operations.
5. Lieutenant General Sir John Moore-Bick - Served in various armored roles.
This is all I could find by scouring the 'net. I'm sure there's more out there I haven't found. If anyone could find me one or two more (from any conflict), I would be grateful.

Sir John Monash - general in WW1 who was a pioneer of combined arms warfare and the use of tanks. He was Australian, but they were part of the British Empire so that should count.
Sir Basil Henry Liddell Hart - leading British pre-war tank theorist who may or may not have influenced the development of the Panzerwaffe.
I guess you could include Field Marshal Montgomery, but he was ultimately a viscount rather than a knight, and wasn't really lauded for his handling of armour.
Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
Terry Pratchett RIP
