I’ve been lurking the forums for a bit as a distraction from work, but decided to finally make a account just to fix up the store finder listing a store that went out of business a while ago. I’m pretty new to 40k, but I’ve been enjoying custodes and the new emperors children models.

Nice to meet you all!

One day I will have something funny enough to be in a signature.

Welcome aboard.

I'm slowly building an Adeptus Custodes army... got any advice?

The only advice I can think of is if you are making allarus custodians, don’t be like me and skip the step where they attach heads and then put the thing on top. I did that because I wanted to prime the area blocked by the head, but it’s really difficult to put heads in after, especially if you’re like me and decided to use custom heads to have funny felinid heads. Now one of my allarus custodians is just staring longingly at his spear which is funny, but unhelpful to looking at the enemy.

Also gravtanks are insanely expensive given they are forgeworld, so proxy or 3d print is probably for the best, for the price of one direct from GW I could buy a whole combat patrol, and with the Horus heresy new edition rumors I’m just hoping for a plastic kit for grav tanks since they’re in both systems.
