I was asking for help today with my KT force, while fiddling with Kasrkin legs, when someone told me that they play better with an Inquisitor.

I hadn't heard that before. I was unaware you could add Kasrkin to Inquisitorial Agents.

How does that work, and is it a good idea?

Have you installed the official and free Kill Team app? It has all the rules for teams including team composition.

Yep.

I never looked at Inquisitorial Agents, nor a bunch of other KTs I never play against.

So, you can remove 5 members of the IA Kill Team and replace them with Kasrkin... I'm not going to mess with this, as I'm not even sure how IA are played.

Inquisition Agents is a very strong team, because you can make a very flexible roster from all the auxilaries you can take with the team. This can really make all the difference in a tournament setting, where you can sort of tailor your team against specific enemies, assuming you have enough experience playing against them to know what are good counters etc..

I've heard Kasrkin are better as an aux choice than Krieg Vet Guard, but other than that I cant say much. No idea if theyre better or worse than straight up Kasrkin, probably worse cuz they lose their dice tricks.. OTOH I also hear the Inq Agents tac ops/ploys are borderline broken and used to be way OP when the team was originally released, been thankfully toned down since..

I did manage to buy Ashes Of Faith when it originally released, but the box is still in my back log so havent got around to building the teams. I'm going to use my Aquilon Scion torsos so I can make my Inq Scions with updated proportions, and also happen to have every other possible auxiliary team they can take besides Kasrkin

"The larger point though, is that as players, we have more control over what the game looks and feels like than most of us are willing to use in order to solve our own problems"
