How?
Last time I asked about reserves I was informed that the strategic reserve limits was a hard cap for what could start off the table. So for this list to be null deploy, you would need to have all that you were required to have on the able in 3 units that you could use the enhancement to pop up into reserves? Or use other re-deploy to reserve tricks.
I had though that the strategic reserve limit was only for stuff that didn’t naturally have the option (like deep srikers) but was informed otherwise.
Not that there is a chance they were wrong. I’ll freely admit to not being 100% up on the FAQs and mission packs.

That feels like a video game achievement. I did it. It didn't do much, but I got the trophy badge.
Edit to Add: That's also probably not the most broken thing from the New Dets. Start wtih 6 Centurion Devastators armed with Lascannon and Centurion Missile Launchers. Now give them the Tactical Decapitation Strat. What character that doesn't use LONE OPERATIVE (or similar) is going to survive? I haven't done the math for an average round into The Silent King, but I think the PRECISION Cents can one-turn him. If not it's close.

I seem to remember trying null deployment with DE back in 7th, using Scalpel Squadrons and stuff. It sounded cool but generally wasn't that effective, although this may have reflected DE's relative power level at the time.

After cramming dudes into Drop Pods and whatnot, you only need a minimum of 1000 points on the table to start. With Land Raiders, it should be easy enough to get all 1000 points into three units to then redeploy into Strategic Reserves.

It sounded cool but generally wasn't that effective, although this may have reflected DE's relative power level at the time. I played against a DE player who did an almost null deploy list. He needed a few units to weather the storm for turn 1 before the rest dropped in. Big gamble (worked for that game). Not sure if it was 6th or 7th, around that time. Null deploy has always been high risk/high reward. You cede the table turn one for your opponent to position/screen if they go first. But then they loose a turn of shooting. You get your full alpha strike, but it might not be in an optimal spot if they screen well. And in the editions when reserve arrival was random and scattered, you had that to deal with. It’s fun and thematic for a number of armies, but the risks involved and the restrictions on what you can take often makes it not worthwhile competitively. Edit: The Phobos Captain has a similar rule, so you could pop 6 units total up with him and the enchantment. Which seems more viable.

You can also use Shrike's uppy downy to technically start some stuff on the table but then pick them up almost immediately after hiding them behind terrain.

ATTENTION. Psychic tests are unfluffy. Your longing for AV is understandable but misguided. Your chapter doesn't need a separate codex. Doctrines should go away. Being a "troop" means nothing. This has been a cranky service announcement. You may now resume your regularly scheduled arguing.
