What an excellent day of gaming we had at The Herts Volunteers club on Saturday. We used On Bloody Ground - El Cid and The Reconquista rules, with around 4000pts a side

After some shocking dice rolls, quality generalship and hard fought battles, the Almoravid/Andalusian alliance just about broke the back of the Christian Spanish forces!

This is the largest multi player game of On Bloody Ground to date, with 4 to 5 players a side (depending on time of day!) on a 12ft table. The pressure on The Generals command points over such a large battlefield was tangible!!

An amazing event, with a great bunch of gamers, who picked up the rules mechanics and tactical options really quickly, especially considering none had played OBG before!
