Anyone who has seen my minis knows I like to upgrade them in all kinds of ways. One resource I have found quite helpful for creating my Imperial Guard forces how I want them has been the Assault Group. This company offers white metal equipment from historical ranges, which non-the-less are highly useful for kitting out your assault teams, whether they are Pulp, Historical, Grimdark or all the above.

I will not include common pieces of equipment that you presumably have tons of (such as bolt action standard rifles).

I will not go into Medieval melee weapons that could be useful here. There is a ton of them. Although there are some that are definitely at home in the hands of Soldiers, Cultists and gangers in the universe of Warhammer 40K... or plenty other universes to be honest!

So We will Start Chronologically
WW2 British
Spoiler:

Entrenching tool:
A T handled entrenching tool that is folded in half and stowed ready to be glued to the buttock of a trooper. Or to the back of his pack.

Ammo Pouches:
Lee Enfield cartridge pouches. Big rectangular pouches.

Bacpack:
Maybe a bit small for 28/31mm heroic but would definitely work for an assault pack, gasmask bag or butt bag.

Bayonets:
Possibly useful for something like a commando dagger.

Bren:
Useful to convert British/Commonwealth Bolt Action squads to K47 as squads can now take 2x Brens.

Sten:
Potentially useful for British/Commonwealth Bolt Action squads if you want to run more SMGs. I find 28mm historical SMGs, kinda fit 40k. Much better than historical rifles. Can be used as a flavorful laspistol/carbine replacement.

Blanket Bedroll:
The right size and kinda useful, if you are desperate for bedrolls for your guys.

WW2 German
Spoiler:

AT mine:
Really good. Just a big land mine.

Bundle Charge:
Also really good, for your stormtroopers/engineer squads.

Panzerfaust:
Could pheasibly be used in 40k as a IG missile launcher. I mean, it will be easy to identify. Useful for upgrading Konflict 47 Axis/Japanese forces with AT punch.

Panzershrek:
Could pheasibly be used in 40k as a IG missile launcher. I mean, it will be easy to identify. Useful if you have spare Bolt Action Axis infantrymen lying around, and you want another Panzershrek.

Pouch:
Rather small but still useful pouch.

Entrenching tool:
A straight handled entrenching tool in a distictive holder, stowed ready to be glued to the buttock of a trooper. Or to the back of his pack.

MP44 Ammo Pouch:
Useful for any curved magazined historic SMGs you may be providing to your IG or K47 troops. Or to any Ka98k/MP40 soldiers who now find themselves with MP44s.

MP40 Ammo Pouch:
Useful for any straight magazined historic SMG you maybe providing to your IG or K47 troops.

MP34:
Can be used as a flavorful laspistol/carbine replacement. MP40: Useful if you want more SMGs in your Bolt Action/Konflict 47 Squads than you get in an box. Especially if you want to theme a Kreigsmarine force or something.

MP40:
Can be used as a flavorful laspistol/carbine replacement. MP40: Useful if you want more SMGs in your Bolt Action/Konflict 47 Squads than you get in an box.

Mp44:
Useful if you want more Assault rifles in your Bolt Action/Konflict 47 Squads than you get in an box.

MG42:
Useful for turning Bolt Action Axis squads into Konflict 47 ones with 2x Mg42s.

WW2 Japanese
Spoiler:

Lunge mine:
Perfect for all your hazardous AT wants and needs. Could be dismounted from the stick and given to troops as magnetic shaped charges(as employed by the Germans extensively in WW2) or ised on the tips of Imperial Guard rough rider's lances. Alternatively if your Bolt Action/K47 Japanese force needs more expendible AT melee punch it is worth considering swapping the bamboo spears of bamboo spear fighters out for something more spicey.

Sword:
Katana. If you want to run K47 Japanese squads smaller with more squad leaders with combat blades, well here you are.

50mm Knee Mortar:
Light mortar, pretty universal for Bolt Action/K47 and can be used as a grenade launcher in warhammer.

Flamethrower:
Useful if you have spare Bolt Action Japanese infantrymen lying around, and you want another flamethrower. Probably a bit small for 40k, but unmistakable.

Type 100 SMG:
Can be used as a flavorful laspistol/carbine replacement. MP40: Useful if you want more SMGs in your Bolt Action/Konflict 47 Squads than you get in an box.

M99 LMG:
If the Imperial Japanese foreces in K47 can get 2 LMGs per squad this might be useful for that conversion.

81mm mortar:
Bit small for 40k but definitely identifiable.

WW2 Soviets
Spoiler:

PTRD:
A big agricultural looking AT rifle. Useful if you have spare Bolt Action Soviet infantrymen lying around, and you want another AT rifle.

PTRS:
A big semi auto AT rifle. Useful if you have spare Bolt Action Soviet infantrymen lying around, and you want another AT rifle.

PPSH43:
Can be used as a flavorful laspistol/carbine replacement. MP40: Useful if you want more SMGs in your Bolt Action/Konflict 47 Squads than you get in an box. Also can be used to replace the PPSH 41 for a bit of flavour.

DP LMG:
If the Imperial Japanese foreces in K47 can get 2 LMGs per squad this might be useful for that conversion.

WW2 USA
Spoiler:

Entrenching tool:
T handle shovel that is not stowed away and is ready to be glued into the hand of a guardsman.

Machete:
Useful as a big knife/short machete for Imperial Guardsmen that find themselves within alien analogues to enclosed tropical forests. Also just a useful knife for conversion.

Stretcher:
Less useful, simply because it is large and metal. Prone to making a resin/plastic miniature fall over. Quite useful for ambulance conversions however.M1 Carbine: Less useful for the Americans in K47, even if it is identical to the fire select M2 carbine, that could be counted as an Assault rifle in the rules. Although it would make sense if these are handed out and/or passed to former/dubious British/Commonwealth allied troops.

BAR:
Useful for when you Bolt Action Squads in K47 want more BARs.

Bazooka:
Useful if you have spare Bolt Action US/Allied/Soviet infantrymen lying around, and you want another Bazooka. Probably a bit small for 40k, but unmistakable.

M1 Flamethrower:
Useful if you have spare Bolt Action US/Australian infantrymen lying around, and you want another flamethrower. Probably a bit small for 40k, but unmistakable.

Thompson SMG:
Can be used as a flavorful laspistol/carbine replacement. MP40: Useful if you want more SMGs in your Bolt Action/Konflict 47 Squads than you get in an box. And you do not want to cheap out with grease guns.

Vietnam War Commonwealth
Spoiler:

Sterling SMG:
Can be used as a flavorful laspistol/carbine replacement. Useful if you want more SMGs in your Bolt Action/Konflict 47 Squads than you get in an box. Particularly for avante garde K47 British units. (although this is the Australian model and you may need to replace the magazine to where the Sterling's magazine usually is)

Owen Gun:
Can be used as a flavorful laspistol/carbine replacement. Useful if you want more SMGs in your Bolt Action/Konflict 47 Aussie Squads than you get in an box.

Vietnam War Viet Cong/North Vietnamese Army
Spoiler:

VC Tools:
An unfolded version of the US Modern/Vietnam war era entrenching tool. Ready to be glued into the hands of a guardsmen. Also a knife and billhook thing that might make interesting close quarters combat weapon.

RPG7:
Useful for K47 Soviet troops. Also very useful for Imperial Guard Missile launcher teams.

RPG pouches:
IRL these are stacked together, so you will need 2 per grenadier/assistant. So 4 RPG pouches per 1 RPG. And a little bit of work to glue them together and fill in the gaps for the man-pack. Upshot is the little guardsmen get 13 rockets to give to their enemy.

AK47:
Useful for upgrading K47 Soviet Squads to have Assault Rifles.

RPK:
The natural upgrade for avante garde K47 Infantry LMG gunners.

Type 56 Carbine:
The Chinese copy of the SKS, So the Soviet SKS was a replacement for the SVT. Surely these would be present and kicking around in Soviet units in K47.

PPSH41:
Useful if you want more SMGs in your Bolt Action/Konflict 47 Soviet than you get in an box.

Useful for any French Bolt Action or K47 SMG gunners. Can be used as a flavorful laspistol/carbine replacement.

Folded and stowed in it's pouch. Ready to be glued to the buttock of a trooper. Or to the back of his pack.

Claymore bag:
Bag made to contain 2x claymore mines. Just carried on a sling around the user's shoulder. Quite useful for IG specialists or engineers.

Butt bag:
Just a good handy pouch.

LAW:
Collapsing, expendable recoiless rifle. Great flavour for IG squads. Can be given to K47 US troops to act as ATRD, or British PRIAMs.

Blanket roll:
The right size and kinda useful, if you are desperate for bedrolls for your guys.

M14:
Useful for upgrading K47 US Squads to have Assault Rifles.

Modern British

Collapsing, expendable rocket launcher. Great flavour for IG squads. A bit more advanced and fancy looking than the LAW.

Great. The iconic bullet proof visor of the K6-3 Altyn helmet. Can be bent to fit most Imperial Guard/28mm helmet. Looks fantastic on stormtroopers and specialists.

Optics a bit small for 40k, bit advanced for K47. Otherwise useful for all your RPG needs.

RPG with separate rocket:
You can model this one being reloaded or firing, useful for IG missile launcher teams, or to upgrade K47 Soviets.

Modern USA
Spoiler:

riot shield:
Modern style riot shield. Big, rectangle with a window. If you just want a regular crowd supression shield for your arbiters/police it is good.
