My armoured company list looks something like this.  I need your advice.

HQ

Vanquisher, HB Hull, HB Sponsons =290

Elites

10 Stormtroopers, 2 plasmas, Chimera, Autocannon =210

Troops

2 Leman Russ (Same) Hull LC, Stubbers, HB sponsons =354

Fast Attck

3 sentinals, Multilasers =135

Armoured Fist Squad Lascannon, Plasma, Chimers, Multilaser =180

Heavy Support

Demolisher Hull HB, HB sponsons =155

Griffon =75

Basilisk =100

Zero XP with AC....

If I were making an AC, based off your list, I would make a few slight changes because I prefer to make target priority a pain for my opponents. I like to use several similar units so that when something gets greased, there is still something left to be just as much of a pain in the tookus for the other guy.

I'd make my list like this:

HQ- No change

Elites- Drop Stormtroopers

Troops- Change LC's to HB's and add 2 more LR MBT's

FA - Drop Sentinels
-Add a second identical Fist SQD

HS - Drop Demolisher
- Drop Griffon
- Add another Bassy

Double check my math, but this should be pretty close to 1500 pts.

Lost- 1 Demo Canon, 1 PG, 1 Griffon Mortar and 3 ML's
Gained- 1 Earth Shaker, 2 Battle Cannons, 1 LC, 6 HB's

-What are your doctrines? To myself Ace gunners is absolutely required.

-I?m not impressed with armored fists in a tank company. They need to be seating to be effective. To pricey as a speed bump in this context with poor anti-assault. Much prefer storm troopers to deal with the errant marines (and its always marines) who get through the ordnance barrage. Having said that if you intend to sit and shoot with the griffon/basi I?f probably concur and sub out the ST squad for another armored fist squad.

-Griffon. Haven?t seen one of those in a while. I?d have to keep that just for coolness.

-I?d also keep the demolisher. Nice citifight option (woe to an armored company in cityfight though) and good for use against those pesky monoliths/terminators. You don?t have a lot of AP 2 firepower which can be important in today?s games.

-Multilaser sentinels. I am not a fan of those, especially when you already have a lot of ordnance on the table, which can be re-rolled with Ace Gunners. But its your preference and your play style, so go with what works for you.
