And to expand on my earlier post, even if GW can take the risk they are in under no obligation to do so, I am just illustrating the extremes, the one company can take a risk and survive, regardless of if they choose to take the risk or not, the other simply cannot so the question should not be put i the first place.

The hand stuff definitely fits the maximum creepiness vibe - take something normal and alter it in unexpected ways.

KDM plays more with the uncanny valley than with the shock genitals have, every monster is something recognisable yet off, the lion has hands and while it resembles a lion it has some distinctive elements that make the familiar form of the lion weird and bizarre, the arms are well shaped in contrast with the grotesque form that caries them, the faces are calm and serene despite the carnage that evolves around them, all parts of KDM are designed (in my opinion) to send contradicting signals to the viewer and confuse him or her, sure there are genitals here and there but they are not what makes the image unsettling.

Pinups part 2 are exactly the models the original KS had plus a settlement event and a few gear cards, so if you had the original, no point in getting it.

Just a quick note of clarification. Since this collection contains all the pinups from our previous kickstarter, YES it is included in all the Satan Pledge Levels and The God Frogdog Pledge level. No, you will not get 2 sets of pinups. The collection just turns those loose figures into a nice set.

For the fans that already have all these pinups and are interested in the new game content. We will create a little card pack that you can pledge for during this kickstarter. I do not have pricing for that yet, but it will be as low. Will get that up ASAP. Thanks!

They must hunt a level 2 Gorm with the following rules:

The showdown begins with Ancient Indigestion in play. This is in addition to all of the Gorms normal AI cards.
When half of its AI deck is in the wound stack (rounded down) it gains +1 damage token.
At the start of the showdown remove "Mammoth Crowded Fangs" & "Mammoth Bloated Face" from the monster's HL deck.I grant them +2 (maybe we'll give them 2 more if its looking close) rerolls to use during the hunt and showdown.

To be entirely honest I am getting tired of the twitch challenges....

Especially the "stakes over win/ lost"

Update they won with a deus ex machina from Poots.

To be entirely honest, it was one of the bad games to show off KDM, boring, uninspiring, two times they died before reaching the monster and were saved by their rerolls, the fight was going on their favour but the damage removal made the monsters super attack show up continuously and in the end was stuck on been repeated constantly if they did not had a bug/ exploit character (something that is fixed on 1,5) they would have all died.

Yes, KDM is brutal and punishing, yes, this can happen but all (ok some not all) auto loose conditions on the same game with a boss fight that ends up playing so boring is not what KDM is all about.

I feel it illustrates the game in a bad light and would like to point out that most fights are not that boring but exciting and the synergy and tactics players can have give deepness on the fights.

Father son probably one of his best sculpts, great composition, fantastic juxtaposition of the game and setting.

Next update maybe, or the 8m update, not sure witch one.

They are short of expensive but not really, not sure if they will have wider circulation but definitely are not expected to be sold in the numbers expansions are, so cost is not that bad 10$ per sculpt though we might see all 4 and if the price does not change it might go down to 5$ per sculpt, given normal pinups are 15$ per sculpt its not a bad price.

I too love the new artist he is much better at showing how armour looks.

I am deeply sorry to see Shut up and sit down claimed even one victim with his bad review.

He is on a crusade against games that show nudity and "degrade women" and uses the same passive aggressive "reviews" to further his agenda of course he is affected by the hype KDM is such a success he has to speak about it, he did the same thing with Conan and its success a "review" filled with constant jokes about how many uncovered breasts there are in the box and had in the review the infamous article from the feminist who got fired from Asmodee NA and thought the best way to get back to them was to accuse Conan for degrading women.... something that is not fit for a game review.

For me he pushes an Agenda, he is biased and does his best to showcase the game in the worse light possible and make people think twice about pledging, he does not won the game he has borrowed the game and his review happens because of the KS success, one must question how much time he played the game before reviewing it, he even talks about the pinups who are not even part of the game proper as been what the game is about... I think he purposefully try to make each section of the game sound boring and convoluted, the only part of the game he did got right but again showcased it in the worst light possible is how excessive it is, yes, it is expensive, but you get what you pay in this box, KDM is indeed as grandeur as any hybrid of a sim and an RPG could be.

And yes, KDM is art as are many boardgames to be honest, some are in the rules others are in the presentation and other are in the immersion, KDM been the love labour of one man is art in all forms.

In my opinion it would be reasonable if it did not try to subtly showcase the game in the worse light possible without saying outright do not buy it, the script writer is clearly a talented man that knows the reaction he will get from outright attacking the game and covers the negativity with a "it is not for everybody" passive aggressive attitude.

It is clear from the earlier Conan review he has an agenda for games that show flesh and the success of KDM forces him to review it he clearly states that the KS made gave him the excuse to borrow a copy and review it, this clearly makes the review window for such a huge game short.

I would agree on some parts of the review, but he spotlights them as bad things and in many parts his review goes in the same tone he did the Conan review mocking, it is subtle but evident that in the whole review that he shows himself as bored and swarmed with cards making the viewer believe this game is boring and complicated.

I forgot to add the parts I would agree if illustrated differently, KDM is excessive, it is a mixture of a sim game and an RPG tied in an existential horror theme that is reinforced with body horror, the monsters and survivors as well as the art utilise greatly the uncanny valley effect to stimulate the uneasiness the theme evokes and the gravity of the players choices.

I have to say everything in KDM is well cared for to evoke this theme even the name of the humans the players control, survivors, is there to reinforce the idea they are no heroes they are the bottom of the food-chain who desperately fights back in order to live just a bit more.

The fact that the players do not play a single character but a settlement and the settlement survival is what matters or the gravity of moral choices the players must make in order to make their settlement survive a bit more, the breath of a crafting system designed to make the players push their luck on bigger prey or the boss-fight AI system that reminds a lot monster hunter and the careful monitoring of the AI cards cycle n order to defeat the monster.

he could talk about all these (well he did talk about them briefly making them feel like a chore) but no he had to talk a lot of times that he cut a lions genitals and how much boobs and flesh the pinups show, models that are not part of the game...

Since it is at the end of the KS video it cannot be a fun sculpt.

This is it! I will be taking an offical break from campaigning starting tomorrow Dec 24th until January 2nd 2017! Next update will be a quick one on the 25th of December to reveal the holiday rewards.
