Officially starting Dark Eldar at the moment, so I drew up this combat patrol as a starting force. It's more of a SAFH at the moment, and if I build/paint up all the models in time, I'll be entering this into a combat patrol tournament my local GW has each year. From memory, there was a bit of everything.
1) 10x Dark Eldar Warrior (100)
- 2x Dark Lance
2) 10x Dark Eldar Warrior (100)
- 2x Dark Lance
3) 8x Dark Eldar Warrior (155)
- Sybarite: Xenospasm
Transport: Raider- Disintegrator, Horrorfex
4) Haemonculus (45)
- Destructor, Scissorhand
Basic plan is just to hang back with sniper squads and blast away at anything. Haemonculus is there because I had 45 points left over and thought it would be decent insurance incase some fast-units managed to get close enough to worry about. The raider squad is my flanking force, I have high hopes for the Xenospasm/Disintegrator combo against Meqs.
Something that I could see becoming a problem is my lack of shooting support when I move my warriors. Should I knock off two darklances for a splinter cannon or keep as is?
