My question is relatively simple. Other than a Rhino as a transport, what do you expect the Inquisition Stormtroopers to bring to the table that you couldn't otherwise get out of the standard IG list for 390 points that you are spending?

simply - not having to buy more models! lol not to mention a chunder hammer of fun! their just something i like! theres no real practical use to them but ive got the models and am strapped for cash so am mainly trying to make do with what ive got

i'd take advantage of being able to take 3 plasma guns.

and you've got 3 lascannons that aren't on vehicles in a 2000 point list.

that could be a real problem. i personally would have a min. of 6 and more

likely 9. all in line squads.

had a quick refiddle with the list and have included the extra plasmagun as recommended.

ive worked the list to include 4 lascannons - 3 in infantry and 1 in a command squad. i know its not a lot but the armies i face are mainly infantry heavy - in particular the kroot! this way i get the heavy shots of the AC that can deal with light vehicles in marines and tau then the 4 lascannons and 2 lascannon sentinels should really be able to deal with any other major threats, you cant get too many raiders in 2k points anyway! lol

also if drop extra armour off the hellhound i can upgrade the autocannon sentinel to a lascannon sentinel so that might help!

other then the distinct lack of lascannons - which i think is covered by the use of ACs and a few mobile lascannons! scout-move-shoot is always very useful! - how over all does this larger list look?

uplifting primer - if i understand you you are suggesting using the greniders rule. thats all well and good but 1 i dont have a enough models and 2 by using troops and =I= storm troopers i get antitank and meat grinder numbers from the platoons and from the stormies i get grenider level troops with a 50-t transport! something greniders dont get!
though i am considering dropping one of the AC troops squads and getting an inquisitor in there as well
