Hi,

I just opened up my new Menoth Battlebox.  I've pinned together my two light jacks (Repenter and Revenger).  However, there's an extra little piece of armour left over, and I can't fathom what it is!

Each jack got legs, body, head, left arm, right arm.  The Revenger got a shield on its left arm too.

What's left is a thin piece of overlapping armour plates, about half the length of one of the heads.  It has a sticky-out-bit with a rivet on either side of the wider end.

Anyone know what this is?  Maybe it somehow tunneled through the plastic from the container for the heavy jack and warcaster (which i haven't *donkey*embled yet), or somehow goes on the back of the Revenger's Shield?

Thanks for any help, I'm sure I'm going to feel silly when someone points out some really obvious answer...

Maybe...but for which jack? There doesn't seem to be an obvious spot for it. And there aren't any assembly instructions in the battle box.

Oh well, I'll post on Privateer Press boards.

Arc node for the Revenger, perhaps? I keep forgetting to put
those things on my Jacks.

Definitely sounds like the arc node.

Aha! That's it! I never noticed it when I looked at the pictures on the box. Thanks guys!

Luckily I haven't primed my Revenger yet - I figured I'd use the Repenter as my practice paint job.

Which is a smart move because you'll never actually use it in a game. It's one of the least useful jacks in the game.

Now run out and buy two redeemers as soon as possible. Those things are money.

That's a great paint job on that jack Malfred! Do you have more pics of your Menoth forces?

Drake : Not my jack

Remember, my arc nodes don't have them on there because I had no clue where
those things went.

Yeah, even before I surfed the forums I was unimpressed by the Repenter: no critical fire (on a flamethrower?!?), no arc node, and lower armour, all for the same points as a Revenger?  Oh yeah, and no charge bonus or reach? Yuck.  I was planning on getting a second Revenger for arc node backup (the old 40k rule of 1 tank is a target, 2 tanks kick donkey).

But since I have the Harbinger (the model that sucked me into Warmachine in the first place), then multiple Redeemers do seem like the bomb.  I'll have to get another min sized Choir to hang back and infuse them too.

I just poked my LGS to put Redeemers on their next order.
