The Warstore still owes me a few backorders - the Arianda Intel Spec Ops, Aleph Chandra and some MAS Infinity Tokens ordered back on November 23rd (!) as well as the Sekban, Raicho and Phoenix from December (ordered back on the 28th of December!).

The stuff still due from back in November is puzzling, although I hear there's high demand for the Spec-Ops stuff.

The Warstore usually is a lot better and quicker at this...

Why not order directly from Micro Arts, then?

I know they send out stuff without any problems, granted I'm in Poland so it was quicker to send tokens to me than to than to send tokens to the US, but I got my items 3 days after I ordered them.
Ordering from The Warstore gives you everything at a 20%-10% discount and under one overarching $5.50 shipping fee. It's delicious.

I probably will, next time!

Though there is that too...

All kidding aside, for the 'lighter' stuff like tokens and templates, I think I will go direct to MAS next time.

But at some point you're ready to pay more just to get your items in a reasonable amount of time

Agreed! I chalk the up to a lesson learned and will order accordingly next time!

Since we're nearing the end if January, any ideas on what's in store for us this month by way of new miniatures?

Nope!

Something Tohaa and the Wulver box most likely though.

Likely Diomedes as well for Aleph. I believe he was supposed to be the last-minute change for a January Release, but then it ended up being Phoenix anyways.

Damnit, I knew I forgot something! I even have him on my January Speculation list over on the CB forums.

Good catch Abs.

My local store has been having a lot of trouble ordering MAS token sets - a lot of the suppliers have them out of stock apparently.

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.

This must be a problem with the cooperation between the LGS and MAS - as I mentioned previously, I just got my tokens I ordered around a week ago.

I've herd there were some complaints about the quality of the tokens, which made replacements necessary. Maybe that's the reason for the delay sending overseas - they want to make sure that there will be no overseas complaints, so they're not sending anything now.

I've read a lot of complaints about the quality of the printing and that it's very. pixelated. Maybe they're going to reprint the markers.

Apparently after several print runs the printer reduced the quality of the print without consulting micro art studios. Micro art studios is aware of this and are taking action so watch this space.

O-12 podcast's news on January releases:

Yu Jing: Bao Troops x 4
PanOceania: Crusader Brethren HMG
Tohaa: Gao Rael spitfire
Nomads: Wildcat HRL and spitfire; later, Corregidor box with 3 Wildcat combi for 5-member link possibility
Aleph: Support Pack (Sophotect, 2 Yudbots, & 3 Netrods) *OR* Diomedes
Ariadna: Briscards x 4 (sniper and marksman)

Nothing for Combined Army or Haqqislam.

The bit about the Wildcat HRL and Spitfire and a miscommunication regarding the Briscard box makes me wonder if the Wildcat HRL will not be its own blister or if it's being moved to a double blister.

Interesting. I guess people will be having a surplus on Netrods to a degree, and I'm actually in need of an additional one at the moment.

I hope Shae/Cho-Konnit will accommodate.

I think that a surplus on Netrods will be better than a shortage.

Very interested in the Gao Rael with Spitfire. Last months Makaul troops did much to alleviate the disappointment in the Kamael light infantry, and the Gao-Rael Sniper is just awesome. If they can keep up the awesome of the Makaul, Gao-Rael and not-Kamael from the starter, Tohaa will be much more appealing to me.

Those Kamael really did sour me on the range.

Sekban, Scarface, Muyibs box say "hullo"...

Remember that there is a KTS box coming within the next few months or so which will be, for all intents and purposes, a Haqqislam box.

I really don't understand why they come out Mercs that can only be used for a Sectoral. Yes I know that's only ITS rules but you know most guys use those standards even for fun games.

But the Kaplans and others can't be used used at all for a general Haqq army. ONLY QK. Does that many people play QK to warrant figures that can only be used by them? At least the Sekban can be used by a general Haqq list.

I'm a Bahram player.

The Muyyib box is hardly anything new, as the models were available before.

I think that's also the reason why there are much more QK players than Hassassins. I would want a non-Najjarun engineer for my general Haqq! Or at the very least they should resculpt the Najjarun (and maybe the Ghulam Doc or another Doc model) and release a Haqqislam Support Pack.

Muyibs don't count. They're all old models.

Agreed. The only thing Bahram does have and QK does not are FIdays, which are awesome, no two ways about it.

QK gets TAGs, all the mercs and Haris teams. Bahram seems like the red headed stepchild of Infinity. I sometimes miss not having chosen QK as my sectorial faction.

Sometimes I wonder what would a QK starter box would contain. Will it contain just Haqq models or would they include some Mercs or Nomads?

Welcome to Corregidor lol. CB likes to focus love on one sectorial at a time most likely because the sculptor can focus on the theme of the sectorial before moving over to the other sides of a faction.

I would use a different figure all together then. Meaning use a Nomad Hacker with Naijarun rules. He's a Merc, yet...not a Merc. As long as he looks like an Engineer I guess he would be fine. I love the Ariandna Dozer with the Tracktor Mul control device myself.

Yup, Corregidor was the 2nd sectorial I was thinking about when I wrote my post.

Regarding the QK starter - Mercs would probably be a good idea, but I think they'd get Ghulams, an Odalisque a Djanbazan and maybe something else that is a common sight in QK.

Am I crazy, or are Kaplans AVA 2 for regular Haqq?

Sorry to have to post this guys but Infinity O-12 is ending Transmission. Episode 9 will be the last show we post.

From their FB.

I think it was the backlash from some of the Infinity crowd on Romeo's apparent attitude and knownledge of the game. I've only listened to one episode, but in it he rambled on about broken lists and cheesy units etc etc. Kept me from listening to it any further personally. It kinda bothered me that an official rep had no clue on the game's balance or tactics.
