I hoped a lot for Neema but really disapointed with her.

Neemas pose is basically the same as every full metal character GW released in the 90's. Flat with arms out sideways, almost in a surrendering pose. I hated the pose in the 90's, and I hate it now. Sorry CB, that models a dud.

I love the armour aesthetic, however.

The bounty hunter... wow. That's just awful. They put this out for general release but hide that absolutely gorgeous female bounty hunter as an ITS prize? Got them the wrong way around.

edit - the more I look at Neema, the more I want to see other angles. The right leg implies a movement that the stark front angle doesn't show at all, and the arms look like they might have a forward angle that isn't shown. I can live with the bigger helmet - she's a personality, and it looks more like a combat ready ceremonial head dress, which I can get behind.

I felt the exact same way about the HMG model - too static and flat, but once I got the model I really liked it. Hoping for the same with Neema.

I don't like Neema's head at all, specially the face. It might be paintjob, I don't know. I would like to see alternate views. And the merc... is really weird. These are not their best minis.

Think the Merc is fine, not sure whether the paint scheme is quite right for him. Might look better in something more industrial/muted looking?

See that slight angle difference already made the pose better. I thought there would be forward, but she's casually leaning on her spear. I dig it.

I wish you would put your finger on it. Because when I saw the model my first thought was, "You know, I don't like this model because I don't like Tohaa in general, but I think if I did like Tohaa's aesthetic I would love this mini.

Honestly, I think she pulls off something a lot of minis struggle to do, which is the sexy-killer look. Most minis over-do the sexy and end up with an unconvincing bimbo waving a sword. Maybe thanks to (I assume) the yellow exposed skin being symbiont armor, this looks like like a character who is supremely confident in their hunting abilities, to the point that they don't care if I think they look kinda like they're wearing a steel bikini.

I'm very disappointed with her, in the video it looked like her head was way too big, the pictures make her look a little better, but still boring. I'm wondering how she'd do with a head swap from the Chaksa Peripeherical.

I'm really surprised how good Tarik was and how bad Neema is. I mentioned in my other post I was waiting for those two in reverse order, but as it is, I'll be getting Tarik and not Neema. Odd

She is ok, not on the very best level of CB, definitely not in the "old Uxia" category, her pose has movement and the sculpting is at the expected levels, but the full front photograph does not show any of it.



Personally I would love to see her with the light rocket launcher and not the combi.

The merc is a variant of the previous ITS mini for those that would like to field him, but did not won the ITS, expect this years ITS mini to be released as a variant next year, as expected his mask is held by a band.

The merc looks like it was inspired by Chapel from the Spawn comics.

Thanks for posting those alternate angles of the Bounty Hunter. I think that mini will be totally salvageable with a different head.. perhaps the bare head from Gui Feng spec ops.

I like Neema. Some converting to point her gun down so that her pose on the spear looks more languid would make her work a lot better. Also some extensions of the head-blades might make her look a little more Brom, which would be cool.

The ABH is... okay. He'll look a lot cooler with the faceplate left blank, maybe with a gold NMM shine added.

Agreed, she's underwhelming.
Not true, it's all there, but unfortunately it's less prominent and bulky.
Yeah, yet another one, but in this case even the pin-up aspect isn't well executed imo. Her pose is just dull and pointless.
I disagree on Scorpio's paintjob to say it's badly painted is an exaggeration, it's far from it. The color composition is a bit bland, but apart from that it's the usual Giraldez quality. I agree with you on the sculpt though.

I finally figured out what the really big offender was.

She's just like a Mantic Elf model. Wearing full heavy armor and yet somehow skinnier than a lighter armored/unarmored version.

The pose isn't even the big problem. She's got a tiny body, a huge head, and the sculpted "helmet" that she has which is trying to match the artwork(which is something like a ceremonial headdress which has a beak going out over the nose) fails to hit the point.

Add to it that she is the first opportunity for them to have a Light Rocket Launcher as it's her signature weapon, and they stick with a combi rifle.
If she had been released as a generic Ectros? Not really a big deal, she would have just been a lackluster Viral Combi Rifle...but she's a named character, the only one that the Tohaa have right now and she looks atrocious.

Not yet. We were supposed to get the stats today but they're not up yet and it's 1655 in Spain right now.

I imagine you are not the only person. This is not the first time I got excited over the concept art but was left impressively underwhelmed by execution.

Army updates were rumoured to be published today, I guess it's going to be later. From my GMT closer to tomorrow than today.

According to the guy who does the Devil Team army builder, we were going to see the updates if there "were no problems" but it seems there were some problems.

The implication is that Giraldez and his new minion painted both Neema and the Authorized Bounty Hunter together.

There are surprisingly few TAG size comparison pics online. I realize that TAGs likely come in a range of sizes but would Tau Crisis suits be a good size match for any of the Nomad TAGs? I don't know if the FW suits or even stock crisis suits could be used for Geckos in the meantime with the larger new commander suit for a larger TAG of some sort along with firewarrior infantry link squads.

Neema is just okay to me.
