That's a great model. Is that a Sot3R head from West Wind?

@Miniholic Thank you, those are most certainly Anvil Industries bionic arms. I really like them, they're easy to use, look great, no flash, just amazing. And I feel they fit in with my Iron Warriors with the bionics. Also, your squad that was just posted looks great.
@Asazelx Yes they are, I'm not sure I like a lot of the heads in that line, but those ones are really cool. If I was doing loyalists I'd have to use the Pickelhaube heads for stormtroopers. But those eagles are too hard to remove.

The only regiments weapons I have not been able to work with are the shotguns, but those are on the way. So far I have loved working with every bit I have ordered from Anvil Industries. I have my Arc Drones assembled and primed, I have my last final today and after that I plan on airbrushing them and putting up a size comparison between them and some other miniatures, just for scale. I had to use the skull heads with the flame thrower drone, I love the image of a skull faced robot walking towards an enemy pouring fire onto everything.

Indeed they are! I bought a single set of the other style as well so I will post them up when they are finished as well.

Really glad I saw these things before I went crazy on buying pre-Heresy stuff from Forge World. These don't entirely match the aesthetic and I do think the Forge World stuff looks a little nicer, but at about 1/2 to 2/3 the price (and not giving GW money is a nice bonus as well, although I like to pretend FW is different) I may just be able to do my PH Blood Angels after all. After, you know, I paint the small mountain of crap I already have.

Plus a miniatures company that sells rapid mold sticks? That's kinda classy.

I really like Anvils stuff, I have used the cyber arms on my troops. Sadly I ran out of cadian shoulder pads and no one makes anything similar. The pads really tie in the arms to the rest of the model. Time to hit ebay again.

@Miniholic - they look amazing!! really impressed! can you email me the original image files at full size by any chance? just for my personal use due to the presence of other peoples parts - If you make any up figures using just Anvil Parts, or with an option to assemble will all Anvil parts, Id be delighted to use the images in the product page on the website, really fantastic work!

@Centurion Painting - Thanks for that! Hes looking good!

@azazelx - Dont worry the MOTN stuff is not going anywhere anytime soon and the newer stuff will surface at some point!

@Skoda - He looks absolutely bad-ass! Nice job!

@Lansirill - Glad you like the range! I dont claim to compete with Forgeworlds sculptors but if Anvil gets big enough, I will hire some of them!

@Javin - Thanks! We are on a "new product break" at the moment but Ill be back on the new stuff soon, and Ill be doing a "generic" smooth armoured pad as well as some others, for the Regiments range. Apologys for it taking a while!

Its really great to see so many painted photos being put up, I hope to see pleanty more if anyone has any to share.

Cheers,

Joel

Such a comp by the man himself!
Sure, will send you pics latest tomorrow Joel. As i have twice the Suppression Team with Missile Launchers and once the Alpha Strike Team here with me your's the choice which one you want me to paint irst.
If you have any preferences just tell me. As I was going to paint the whole range of BLACK OPS for my Sharks, to be fielded as an army of it's own, I will leave off the decals, maybe you might accept nowadays US modern ones used discretly?

Good to hear you are still in the world of noncorp. things once i a while. I cannot wait to see what you'll bring out next in the reg.range.
Keep forgetting to post pics here of minis using Anvil parts, so here is a couple. First two using bionicarms and chainbayonets, the last two using, shoulderpads and various smaller bits.

Can we get a parts breakdown on these?

They look like something I'd love to use as 'counts as' Spawn in my 40K Alpha Legion army...

Thanks!

Those are using the bitspudlo counts as terminator as the base. You can find that at bitsbox.eu and Anvil shoulder pads, as to the rest of it I have no idea.

Instead of writing a long post here in this thread, which I think should be primarily kept in Anvilind. lines, I'd instead point you to either my blog: http://forgemechanicus.blogspot.dk/ where they are listed as Defender Robots, or my own thread herehttp://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/512676.page

Outstanding work, Manus. I'll probably have to pick up the parts to do some of those myself, then end up letting them sit in a box unbuilt for a decade.. :x

Joel, do you still have the top right or bottom right torsos available from this picture please?

Any chance of a link to them would be great, I just can't seem to find them on your site?

Equally, if you happen to have a sculpt coming that combines the "v neck" and stomach plate from bothof these variants, I'd be an incredibly happy man and I would quite literally be just throwing money at you

Thanks!

Hi Joel , its been a while since I bought a few Black Ops but I've finally built a few , sorry but I had to mix a few parts with GW stuff to match our existing force , however REALLY like how these came out.

I magnetised the arms on the shield guy so he could do duty duty as 'entry man' and as you envision him with the knife.

More to build and will have these painted by the end of the month !

I'm not sure if anyone was wondering what the scale between the ARC Drones and other figures. I was, when I purchased them, so here is how they line up.

aaaaand we're back!

Long weekend in Berlin - Batteries fully recharged and ready to rock! Some exciting announcements pretty soon, but we'll get caught up with orders first!

@Kitch102 - They are temporarily unavailable because we need to remake the moulds and Ive not found the time to do it yet. They will be back fairly soon, along with the Medieval static legs which are similarly unavailable at the moment. Sorry for any inconvenience.
No plans for any new Torsos in the forseeable future, far too many other exciting projects planned!

@Big H - Thanks for the photos! They look great, no worries on the non Anvil Parts, I appreciate until I get my ass in gear and get a proper rules set and complete miniatures range out, people are going to be using my stuff in other game systems!
I look forward to the painted photos!

@Lavauran Guard - I will be remastering that component, so a similar version will be available. Unfortunately its not a priority at the moment and I cant give any indication of when I will get round to it.

@Skoda RE - A.R.C Scale.

Thanks for the scale reference, the drone miniatures, and the entire regiments range, will be 28mm "slightly heroic" so not quite as chunky as Cadians, closer to Forge Worlds human figures, but they come out roughly the same height as plastic cadians and similarly scaled figures.

Cheers,

Joel

Hey Joel,

If I wanted a pack of left hands for regiments, can I order just those? I have many Cadian lasgun arms but would like to change up how they are held.

Hi Joel,

The medieval set of exo lord will be back?

I think the Medieval Exo-Lords should represent a different faction than the Black Ops Exo-Lords. Sort of a different Country (Planet?) both the "good" guys but maybe they don't see eye to eye. Medievals would stick ridgedly to traditions where the Black Ops would be no nonsense. They would be like Gondor and Rohan, they might help each other they might not, they might even fight if they had to.

Thanks Guys -

@Victor - We had a great time in Berlin, I was doing my best to NOT think about wargaming for a few days and just about succeeded! Good luck securing funds for your robot take over! Im hoping to expand the A.R.C range in the not to distant future.

@Javin - Not at the moment, but I hope to make them available at some point, its just finding the man hours to do everything!

@Livanbard - Im undecided - Basically we are VAT registered now, and I've not changed prices at all.
With most of the range this isnt a problem (so no need to panic buy guys!) but on the already discounted Exo-Lord kits it means we are not making enough money on them.

Its most likely the product will not return, but I will be designing new ranges of Exo-lords, similar to the Black Ops (fewer components) to replace them, which will include a medieval styled one.

@JeffJedi - Thanks for your suggestions - The current "medieval" Exo-Lords dont feature in the Anvil game system but the updated ones will do, They are most definately bad guys though and will be doing their level best to butcher any Black Ops squads they can find in the ruins of Earths old Mega Cities.

That said, the Black Op's are not the good guys either, there are not very many really "good" guys running around the Anvil back Story!

Cheers,

Joel

It's a shame the old Medieval parts won't be coming back. They were pretty nice. I'm glad I'd bought those legs when I did.

For anyone that's got 'em, how do the MOTN minis compare in size to the ARC Drones?
